I know I will lose my disability when I get married, but was curious if my son will still recieve his alotted amount from his dads death of this year? My getting married won't affect his check will it?

No, it will not be affected. Your new husband can even adopt your son without affecting your son's benefits. They will remain in effect until your son's 18th birthday or so, depending on when he graduates high school.

If your son is still a minor he will get his allotment until he reaches the age of 18 or longer if he is in school.

No, you will lose yours but if you get a disabilituy ck , you will not lose that either. If your first husband dies you would. . He will not lose his until 18 . Call the social security off nearest you. Good luck, cong. Pem
