Well first it is probably part of conspiracy to depress everyone in america to death, therefore fixing the overpopulation problem, or it could be that every man who works for the company has a bad case of blue ball.

They didn't, if it were correctly figured the Democrats would be red because they are Communists, and the republicans would be brown because they are Facists.

the donkey came about because of the party's founder, Andrew Jackson. he was such a jerk, a prominent newspaper printed an article calling him a stupid jacka..
the Democratic kool aid drinkers of his time rallied around him anyway, and called themselves donkeys. true story. the logo stuck after all those years.
but the part about the blue, I dunno.
