i mean i dont think i ever had any stringy clear egg white or if i did i never paid any attention to it?

Its not big enough for you to see. If you weren't ovulating, you wouldn't have your period.

Most people don't pay attention. Medications can also affect the mucus. You usually do ovulate - but sometimes (like in my case) I just didn't pay attention to it until I was TTC. When you're on the pill you don't. It tricks your body. Ovulation =fertile time. When you're on the pill, you don't have a fertile time.

yes every woman ovulates once a month unless she is pregnant or gone through menopause

you didn't pay attention. yes, at some point in all women's lives, they do ovulate. some people have to probe to find their cervical fluid... and some people have an abundance of it.

If you have your period, you have ovulated.
