I had a bat inside my bedroom a few years ago. Try to gently get it cornered somewhere - underneath a desk or a table. Take a pillow case or a towel and gently cover the bat with it, enabling you to pick up the bat without scaring it because it won't know you're approaching it. Then wrap your hand around it so you enclose the bat in the material, and bring it outside where you can let it go.
Don't hurt the bat! It's more scared of you than you are of it.

ohh isnt' that the worst? I called for help and my neighbor lady came over with a butterfly net. or try opening a window, I think it wants out as bad as you want it to leave. pop a waste can over it, then slide a piece of cardboard under the wastecan and you will have the bat trapped in the wastecan, then you can carry it out and let it go.

we had 1 inside the school 1 time and we hit it w/ a baseball bat and threw it in the trash can

Use a butterflt of fish net. Be very careful, don't handle the bat. They carry rabies.

Use a net or call a professional.. but no matter what.. make sure It get's released to the wild...

my cat once caught a bat. so buy a cat but not all cats can catch a bat

With a trash barrel. But you may want to call in animal control because it may have rabies.
