I really enjoy the increase in crime and murder rates. It is almost back to way it was when his dad was in office.

Benefits...what benefits? We have a rat running the country!

The lowest unemployment ever? Where the hell did you find that figure, on a Richard Mellon Scaife website? The best economy since Bill Clinton left office? Excuse me, but isn't this the ONLY economy since Wild Bill left?

When Wild Bill came in, we were a trillion dollars in debt after twelve years of Reagan/Bush. According to Bush, Jr.'s, own figures, we had a "surplus" of almost a half-trillion dollars after Bill left. George said this was because we were paying too much in taxes. We didn't have anything better to spend it on, so he divided 60% of it up between 275 million of us, and the other 40% of it went "back" to the same 230,000 people who dodged paying those taxes and stole it from us in the first place.

Eight trillion dollars in debt after just five years and this genius is saying that the treasury is taking in more money than it ever has. Sure, if I didn't pay any of my bills, I'd be filthy rich, too. Leave it for the next guy just like Reagan and Poppa Bush did, and then blame it all on him. We have a record amount of home ownerships only because it's the bank that owns them, not us, and we suddenly have a lot more people here, too, not all of whom were invited or applied to be here, or who even bothered to check in at the front desk. But they're driving all our wages down, and that's a good thing if you're the guy who has to write our checks. By the way, home and business foreclosures are at a staggering all-time high, too, exactly the same way Boy George left Texas in shambles like it had been hit by a state-wide, five year F-6 tornado.

But now we're reaping the benefits of Texas nationwide.

Sure, we're lower than we've ever been and the bottom is so close that we can all reach out and touch it. Before you know it, there will be p*ss in every pot and we can all enjoy a good five-thousand dollar cigar. Poverty is just around the corner and hope is just a dying gasp south of Hell.

When we finally hit that sweet rock-bottom, we have no way to go but up. Maybe in about a hundred years or so we can almost be back up to where that thieving Bubba left us. God, what I wouldn't give to have a Blue Dress be my biggest worry and my Country's biggest shame once again. *Heavy sigh*

You must be really young. We're far worse off than we were when Poppa Bush (Daddy War-bucks) was run out of town by a Nation of angry villagers carrying burning torches.

At the time, that was the worst time of my life, but now that wouldn't just be the good ol' days, it would seem like near-Heaven.

Great Job, Boy George! And to think, we each got all this for a three-hundred dollar bribe back in 2001, whether we voted for you or NOT.

I'd say that was the worst investment anybody made since the Tribal Nations sold Manhattan Island for twenty dollars and a bag of beads. As a matter of fact, they were geniuses compared to us. At least they didn't do it twice, and for free the second time around.

Maybe we're not wrapped so tight, either.

Boy, you know how to stir up the soup don't you. Great question.

My fav-
Bush - stop listerine ing to me.

That's the best mis-spelling I've seen in a while

Tax breaks were great - of course I'm not in the bottom 95% of wage earners. They got screwed. Any body else get large stock dividend returns? Yep screwed again.

8 trillion in debt - if you're under 30 - you're gonna pay big time - probably with inflation - that's the only way to make 8 trillion disappear.

I know what you are saying! I was worried I would never pay over $3.00 for gas again! And the smog! I almost got to the point I could go outside without my allergy meds, it was ticking me off! Now I have to have a mask on to leave the house.
I was getting real sick of TV speeches too. Its just not as fun to listen to a President that can speck correctly. The Bush clan are just so damn funny with their witty comments and stuttering.

There are benefits of having George W. Bush as president? NO WAY!

Oh hey now, its a lot worse than when Daddy was in office. After all, Sonny boy has been getting people killed in Iraq every day for what's it been now, 4 years? Daddy's war only lasted a week or two. Sonny boy is making more widows and fatherless children than Daddy ever dreamed about.

yeah sportsboy, try reading the 911 commission report then come back here before you start calling people idiots.

To the original question, are there any statistics to back this up?

I have seen statistics that say wage increase have not kept up with inflation for the past 5 years, but I am too lazy to look it up now.

Considering there are NO benefits to having boy george as president, I would safely assume we have gotten all the good that you can get from nothing.

lol...My favorite benefit is the war he has got us in that's killed thousands of our fellow Americans. The war is with Bin laden and the Al Queda not Iraq. It is about time they got out of there and found the real people responsible for 9/11..And they are not in Iraq. He is more concerned about the oil companies than he is about the terrorists responsible for 9/11..

We as the American public only have ourselves to blame for putting him back in office.

I also enjoy the higher gas prices too along with seeing the educational system in the country slide further and further down the slope.

Uhh, I can tell you, from local experience, the people commiting crimes more could give a **** about politics and who's in office. But you don't live here, you most likely live in your little nice home where you can make comments like that in a nice neighborhood.
