I'm looking to start a website to sell products. I want to know which companies are most reliable and cheap. I was looking at the yahoo rates and they charge a transaction fee, per transaction that is made. Do all web hosts do that?

http://www.interkeys.com/tophosts has the best 4 hosts on the net, not sure exactly what price you are looking for but they go for as low as 6 bucks with tons of space
