I know I didn't spell it correctly. Not all nerds wear dorky clothes, suspenders, sweater vests, dorky glasses. I am a nerd and I don't wear any of that. It makes me mad, just because you are smart and care about your grades does not mean that you look like a dork.

"Heehehe....Did I do that?"
TV stereotypes a whole bunch of classes of people, not just nerds. Think of the jocks, and how they're all thought of as football-playing dumb asparaguses.
But, that's just American tv.
Where I'm at, it's cool to study a lot and get good grades. It's even more important so.

Who said that Steve Urkel represents ALL nerds? It's not just a matter of being smart & caring about your grades - being a "nerd" is about being socially inept as well. If anything, Steve Urkel helped other nerds to feel like they're not alone & to be able to laugh at themselves.
As a matter of fact, I thought we were beyond "nerds" being thought of as a "bad thing." I think we can credit movies such as "Revenge of the Nerds," Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and the creators of "South Park" for that!

Martin Prince each of how!!!! Steve Urkel changed into stressful, stupid(no longer intelligence smart), clumsy, went for the gruesome chicks, had a consistent wedgie with those pants, had the stupidest seize word "Did I attempt this?" Martin Prince is fantastic and has been on the longest operating acceptable time comic strip in history! Heck, even Lisa Simpson made a robotic, and she or he's 8, and the robots call changed into Lingo. She even created existence, in somewhat bath with soda and a the teeth, besides the actuality that it turned right into a Halloween episode, she nonetheless created existence.

Because Hollywood loves to stereotype and catagorize things and people.
According to Hollywood:
All hookers either have a heart of gold or are the first to be killed.
Nerds are always unattractive, unless they are female and made fun of or is asked out by a popular guy on a date due to a dare or bet...then she is secretly hot under her clothes and a huge makeover will change her.
Cars that are shot or run off cliffs will always explode.
Homeless people MUST wear gloves with the fingers cut off.
Female police officers are either gorgeous or lesbians.
Teenage bedrooms are either decorated with countless posters, countless stuffed animals, or a cool mobile and a telescope. If they are in the bedroom they're either on the phone or having sex.
Oh, and if you are asian, you automatically are adept in a wide range of martial arts...naturally. :P
And the list goes on and on.....Hollywood is full of it, don't take anything from film or TV seriously. :D

Most tv shows and characters just copy old shows. Not much original. The 'nerd' character just gets a few cheap laughs
