"I want to //know// everything..." Is that your question with a missing word inserted?
If so, I hate to disappoint you but it is impossible. NO ONE know everything about a computer. There is TOO MUCH to know.
Here's why...
Both the software and the computer itself--each part of each--is designed by a committee. Literally thousands of engineers and programmers--each with a college-education backing his/her speciality--is necessaryt to bring each segment (large and small) into being.
TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE ASSIGNMENT!!!
Professor PC or the like is OK. So are the huge array of Hewlett-Packard FREE courses you can sign up for at their site.
BUT I TELL YOU THAT YOU WILL PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR VIDEO PROFESSOR FOR ORDINARY POOP. Nothing special since each course YOU BUY is genetric unless specifically ID'd for a particular verison of software and/or moder of each PC or MAC.
Give it up, dude. Get a girl-friend. LOTS more fun and interesting, too.

Linux, in a live CDrom, is FREE and, will start you off on networking, cracking passwords to save simple systems, like Microsoft boxes!
I recommend the book "Knoppix Hacks, 100 tips and tricks", by Kyle Rankin, from O'Reilly Books, at Bookpool.com or Amazon, and at the local Books-a-million!
http://www.bookpool.com/ss?qs=knoppix+hacks&x=0&y=0
It includes a LIVE CDRom of Knoppix, with those full directions about running it, and all the tips... http://knopper.net/knoppix
Then, get ahold of some old Pentium 1 or PII machines, running Microsoft! toss together a network!
Next, go and download some of the forensic tools used by the FBI and NSA, who actually WROTE parts of the Linux Kernel!
SELinux became part of Linux, about mid-2005! YOU can have the tool kit! Secure Edition Linux! http://www.nsa.gov/selinux/
Now then, go get something like Morphix, Whax, or P.H.L.A.K. (Professional Hackers Linux Assault Kit- http://www.phlak.org/modules/news/ ) all of which let you use tools to supervise a network to patch security holes, and to catch black hats! All are at http://livecdlist.com
My favorite for noobs, is http://pclinuxos.com it is what I am using here, to type this, without any hard drives installed... Runs in the CD, loads a RAM disc, and I can save to gmail, or a thumbdrive. Or, store on any drive on any computer, remotely!
Final Blast! There are 77 Yahoo Linux and BSD groups. 700 Linux Users Groups http://lugww.counter.li.org all to help YOU! Online, or at a meet-up or Installfest!!!

Best way to learn about your computer is to keep using it. Or take a course at a community college. Experience is the best teacher.
