I was wondering if it worked. Has anyone tried it, if so how much weight have you lost, or did it help you quit smoking?

do NOT let anyone EVER put an acupuncture staple in your ear...
acupuncture for weight loss or smoking can help, but usually more than just that single point is stimulated, and with needles, not with a staple.
the staples are VERY prone to infection... bad infection.
I am a chiropractor & an acupuncturist & my instructor has taught since the early 1970s & told horror stories about this stuff... people can actually lose their ear due to infection....
the key to weight loss if you do get acupuncture is to make sure you use it as a supplement to another program, working out, or going to weight watchers, etc... the acupuncture in itself may decrease cravings (for food or cigarettes) & help you shed a few pounds, but if you want a magic answer, the only thing that works is diet & exercise.

To stop from doing haram things one may need : 1. Fear of Allah 2. Will power 3. Determination from the doer him/her self 4. Finding a Halal alternative 5. Avoiding being alone 6. Concentration on Religious matters 7. Reading Al-Qur'aan once you get an opportunity to do a haraam thing. 8. Saying Astaghfaar (seeking pardon with determination). 9. Praying 5 times a day, regularly, come what may. 10. Praying additional rakaaths of prayers, imploring, seeking help of Allah to get rid of a bad habit. In will power there is none in the world stronger than a Muslim. This is manifest from the month of Ramadhan. Almost 100% of haraam things and other smaller sins are stopped by every fasting Muslim for the full 30 days. Hence, fasting also prevents haraam doings. You cannot fast every day other than Ramadhan, but one day of the week (Monday as Sunnah) will also help to keep the crime rate low. First try to kill the strongest Haraam commitment, other habits will not need more efforts, then. Hope this will help

You know what works to stop smoking? Lobelia. You can find it in one of those eyedropper type bottles as a tincture in some health food stores. The reason I know it works is, when we were kids, at the advice of an herbalist, we used to sneak it into what ever our step-dad drank during the day.(water, coffee, etc.) He quit smoking. He said he guessed he just grew out of it. Yes of course I realize not that it was "wrong" to do, on principle, but I'm just SAYING; it really works.

I have had the weight loss stape from a chiropractior in my area. I can say for myself that it did not work on me. I have seen people who say that they have lost weight with it. I believe that is primarily what you believe in. If you really put your heart into then it might work for you. I guess I didnt believe in it. Good look to you. You can contact me personally and I can give you the name of a wonderful source to get it done at a very good price. Best of luck
