because im about to join a little league team and my only bat is wooden

In some states they consider using a wooden bat in a little league game cheating. Yes, cheating.

Depends on league rules. Most likely it is not allowed since the likely hood of an accident with a splintered bat.

in most little leagues yes, they're legal. but aluminum bats prove more lively for the little hitters. you can always borrow someone else's bat to hit. little league players normally share.

actually in the little league next to us wooden bats are illegal.

I can't imagine how wood bats are CHEATING - they are inferior to aluminum bats. If I want an advantage, I want an aluminum bat, not a wood one.

depends on where you live and what age group your entering, if it is illegal, just hold onto your bat, but use someone elses
