We live in a fairly sunny part of the country, and have satellite. It's fine when the sun is shining, but as soon as a cloud comes by we lose our local channels. Wind can also affect it, as well as snow. If I had known about that, I would have stuck with cable.

Cable sucks, and has limited chanels for almost as much as Sattelite, but with Sat you get way more chanels, music chanels (XM, Syrius..), several HBOs, several showtimes, starz, kid's chanels... I've had cable all my life, currently, not too long ago switched to Dish, and it's the bomb. We're paying about 10 dollars more, and the price never goes up. Just think, all those bad a$$ chanels, minus the price hykes that cable puts on you. Go Sattelite!!
