I just heard on CNN?

Is the US going to be under fire? I honestly think I'm scared shitless.

My mom woke me up to tell me this and I started to shake. Omg I don't think I've ever been so scared.

CNN will say anything to get you and your family to watch them. They have no respect for this country our its people. They would sell us all to the Devil for one ratings point.

Lets clear a few things up first. We are in WWIII did all of u miss Newt Gingrich on all major news channals last week. Second we are not fighting in 126 countries but have troops in 126 countries. Not at war with Hati.

War is raging across the world. Thisworld war is not the classic European power struggle. Rather it is the Islamic ideology against a Christian judeo ideology. AKA Arab Isreali conlfict. Also this war is global!!!!! Iraq, Afganistan, Canada, Miami, India, Indonesia, and Russia, etc..............
this is being caused by the problem of a dieing out fundamentalist islamicideology that is scared of the modern world. This struggle will continue to grow and grow untill it encompasses the entire globe. Yes the US will be hit if our intell agencies screw us over again!!!!! Otherwise the world has toface agrowing nuclear proliferation threat that could spill to terrorists. So be afraid, very afraid.

I agree with many of the other posters, World War III has not only already started, but has been going on for some time now. Just like American revolutionized guerilla warfare, Islamofasicism is revolutionizing warfare via Terrorism. This is a war where the enemy is relatively unseen. They do not necessarily fight for any one particular country, though I suspect they are getting support from at least several already, i.e. Iran & Syria.

This war will be a long and involved process. Those who value freedom will have to change their tactics in synch with their enemies, else like a knife trying to fight a tank, we will get crushed.

This is not meant to scare you. In all probability you will never directly see the effects. There are always terrible things going on in the world. If we concentrate on them too much their evil infects us and we go crazy.

Combating this problem is a calling. If you do not have this calling just go about your life trying to live it genuinely and hopefully, with compassion.

For those of us that have this as a calling it is a grim job. It is no fun at all. Who wants to think about all the crazy mess of the world? I'd rather play guitar, watch movies with my friends, wrestle around with my Husky, go on nature walks, travel, etc.

From experience this calling definitely weights heavily on the heart. But if for some reason you do chose to take this path, take it without the fear. Fear only depletes you. I remember recently I was enlightened with the feeling of hope, hope that this whole mess was going to work out . I could barely hold back the tears I was so relieved. I did not realize just how much of a toll this issue had taken on me.

In your heart of hearts have faith that no matter what happens it will be OK. There is nothing that can be done to you or the world that cannot, or will not re-blossom in some other form. Trust in the higher power and have peace in you heart.

Don't worry. CNN is just being sensational. Very few countries have the reach to hit the US. The ones that do have the ability to attack us (England, Japan) are friends.

What they mean is a unconventional war against radical islamists. Most moslems are good people. But, just like Lebanon, they did nothing when Hezbollah terrorists ran around armed with missiles in their country and constantly attacked Israel. I feel for the Lebonanese people, but not so much (due to their inaction).

Most people in the US that come here assimilate and become part of our culture, not try to change us.

Today, you don't have as many explicitly allied states, which would join in as a war spread. More specifically, the Hezbollah/Syria/Iran side would not have many more countries join them.
