Does your dad give you negitive feedback all the time?

Question

I am now 38. I do not hang with my dad that much any more. But when I lived at home, it seem that he always had something negitive to say about a good thing I did or bought.

I brought this up, because the other day we went out fishing. I was talking to my brother about my nicepeoplehere.com web site. Well my dad knows nothing about the internet. But he had to put his negitive feedback in there.

Here is what he said "Nice people finish last". Now this brings up another question. Is this domain name going to jinks my web site?

Should I have used a different name or is it just a bad idea any way to try to do nice things for one another on the internet?

My father was the same when while I was growing up. I'm now 39 and he is still negative about everything I say or do, even towards my upcoming third wedding.

What he really did for me was to show me how not to act, and to be a better man by being more loving, caring, compassionate and giving.

I thank him everyday for showing me how to be by not following his footsteps.
