Capitalism is a term coined by Karl Marx that I refuse to dignify.

No system is perfect, but the Free Market is the best system ever devised by man. People conduct themselves by instinct as much or more than by logic.

Our instinct drives us to collect food, and the tools to protect ourselves. Instinct tells us more is better, but instinct does not recognize how much is enough. Our social institutions serve to moderate our behavior, and prevent the violence that would occur if anarchy reigned.

Communism attempts to counter-balance "greed" with the power of the state. Free Markets do it by setting one person's "greed" against that of others. If one business attempts to charge too much, another will supplant it. If an employer pays too little, his good employees will abandon him for an employer who pays better.

A Free Market system strives for equality of opportunity, a communist system tries to achieve equality of outcome.

Well the problem with soviet communism is that they didn't have the starting point for a "ideal" communist society. They didn't have a capitalist society, they were coming out of the monarchy of the Czars. Neither theories are flawless. Communism sounds appealing at first until you really think about what it takes to get there and the means do not equal the end. Communism is not for peace loving, let's talk it out people, it's more for let's blow something up to get our point across. Lenin and Stalin are to blame for much of the twisting of communism and capitalism seems to be working just fine.

two different economic systems that have the ability to become corrupt, each system villifies the other ,but people just want freedom, capitalism has been regarded as using workers as product and dehumanizing and communism has been regarded as a totaliarian society rules by a tyrant and vice versa. W.E.B. Dubois who was an early pioneer in american sociology was a big fan of communism. unfortunately idealistic thoughts about either system do not reflect the reality of both of them

Very little except for ideology and rhetoric. As far as I know, their economic practices were remarkably similar to each other. They just said different things about them, and used slightly different institutions, to the same purpose.

If you're asking about popular opinion on the matter, then, usually, capitalists think they're pragmatic and have created an infallible method of coercing people into contributing to the common good by behaving selfishly, while socialists think they're pragmatic and have created an infallible method of persuading people to contribute to the common good by making management responsible to labor.

However, the U.S. has never had a capitalist market economy, and the U.S.S.R. never had a socialist labor economy. For various reasons, neither of them even came very close. Don't think so? Look up "corporation" in "The Wealth of Nations," and look up "government" in "The Communist Manifesto."

Communism creates a 2 classification gadget. an exceedingly small elite classification and "something human beings" classification. seem on the soviet union. The extremely prosperous politicians and something of the rustic have been peasants. No incentive to improve even nonetheless it did no longer count number via fact there became into no danger to improve. Capitalism nevertheless existed as a black industry. human beings might could commerce their ration coupons for different products illegally. does not sound very solid to me.

oh man, they're complete opossites you have one where the Government owns EVERYTHING, everyone is equal(doesn't sound like a bad idea, but no one can be different or follow their dreams). Government rations everything and basically with this workers HAVE NO drive to work, you get paid no matter what. Capitalism it's the people controlling the businesses, theres distinct differences between poor and rich, people make more, they sell more, they have a drive.

One deals with material wealth and a system where the most successful get the most wealth according to the survival of the fittest--allowing nature to take its course. The other deals with equal wealth distribution and a forced system of shared opportunity. Both systems, as they were practiced, left a small portion of the population that is wealthy&corrupt and a large portion of the population empowerished & over-worked.
