I am from the Toledo, Ohio area and there are a few interesting things. There are several bike night locations on Wednesday and you might start at Hooters on Monroe but the parking lot is small. Then go to Jed's north just off Alexis. The parking lot is big and it has a section cordoned off so wheelie and stunt guys can do really wild and dangerous stuff just feet from the spectators. There are lots of bikes to look at and lots of people who are willing to talk about their bikes. Finally, finish the evening at Headliners off Detroit. The parking lot is huge and there is a big warehouse where you can drive your bike inside and pose and preen and look really bitching and cool and stuff. Like wow. Or you can look at the goofy posers who think thirty grand and thirty miles makes them a biker and a bad *** proctologist. Then after the semi-pro wet tee-shirt contest sans the tees, you can go the the parking lot and watch testosterone saturated young men engage in faux mating calls by smoking their tires head to head until one tire blows. I saw a motor leak oil and catch on fire during this event. You can finish the evening with a very fast ride around the I-75 and 475 freeways on your way home.
The zoo is good, boating is good, walleye fishing in the spring is some of the best in the country, you can build a skiff and drift down the historic Maumee River from Ft. Wayne to Lake Erie. There are some historic sites to see. The Toledo Museum of Art is excellent. The Toledo Mud Hens baseball team has a wonderful new stadium down town. In the fall there is a quaint Applebutter festival at Grand Rapids and various corn festivals, chicken festivals.
Best of all, the people of Toledo are really friendly.
I don't want to see it change so
WELCOME TO TOLEDO, NOW GO HOME.

Alabama. The culture is great, the food is amazing, the accents are sexy, the scenery is beautiful, and the tans are out of this world.
The climate is beautiful. Great beach. Lots of historical value.
