Yes we are, because we are the government! We vote for our president and congressmen and (supposedly) they should be doing what we want them to do. And yes I am ashamed that we went into Iraq for wmd that weren't even there!

1. Register to vote.
2. Be aware of what your representatives are up to. Check their voting records on issues.
3. Vote accordingly and vote often

actually we are not as the government has become its own entity and it takes just a ego power hungry president to do as he wants to start anything he wants. its to much power for one person as the government never acts in the countries best interest but their own. the more powerful they are, the more they abuse it thinking they are above the law.
