3 adults 1 child, no luck with internet search and working at a motel myself i am aware that they charge more on internet than at motel sight. so if any one in that area can help would appreciate.

As a person who lived in the Springfield area for 25 years, here is my suggestion:
There are several decent motels at the intersection of Gateway and Beltline .. it is a major intersection right off of I-5 on the east side. There is a Motel 66, a Super 8, and some others, all relatively new. Some have pools. Close to a large mall, with two theaters (total of 29 screens), and lots of resuarant choices, fast food, to mid-range.

lowest I found was $80 per night including the taxes.
