you might try running a defrag. a disk clean up, check for updates, deleting all of your files and folders that are old and you dont need or dont use any more, uninstall the programs that you dont use, and if that dont work run spyware and virus scan 2-3 times in a row to make sure you got everything. check your processes to see what is running and if that dont work you can slip some more memory in there, it will take 5 mins tops to do the memory. if you need more help email me @ danlliot2001@yahoo.com. i will walk you through step by step. just because you ran a virus scan doesnt mean your computer is fixed. you could also get rid of all the shortcuts you have on your desk top, delete files, delete cookies, and your recycle bin. oh yeah and if you have IE or micro outlook try deleting all the unnecassary mail

Some anti virus are memory hogs. Norton for one.

Your hard drive could also be near full. Remove some files to clear out and have 15% of the harddrive clear. Windows needs this space to function properly.
Defrag the hard drive if you havent.

Donot run too many programs at the same time, or get more RAM. A new program you installed may be running in the background and requires a lot of memory. (again Norton for one)

Do not run 2 anti virus at the same time as they will cause problems.

If you have a deeply imbedded Spyware program running you will need to get help directly from a forum from the Anti Spyware website that finds the problem.

Some suggestions for what I use.
I use all of the following Free software with Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer with MSN toolbar and the pop-up blocker turned on and have never had a single problem with my computer sense Microsoft came out with SP2. (knock on wood.) (And be sure to keep Windows and the following software Updated)

The best Anti-virus is: AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. (www.grisoft.com)

The Best Spyware defense is: SpyBot Search and Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html)<--English version

AND: AdAware SE (www.lavasoft.com)
AND Spyware Blaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.info/kb/)
The best Firewall besides the one that comes with Windows is: Zone Alarm (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/co... or just (www.zonelabs.com) and select the FREE version.

These are all FREE and are all that are required. There is no reason to pay for this kind of software, except to give a donation to the writers if you can.
ALL the above programs are recommended and should be run on a regular basis. With some the free versions they must be run manually.

The best way to avoid getting any Malware (virus, Trojan's, spyware, etc) is to practice safe computing. Microsoft and many others have countless articles on the subject of safe computing. (something I think should be taught in schools)

It seems that some spyware and virus has been corrupt your important registry entries and that's why you are getting this problem.

I suggest you that, Download the latest version of regcure Software right now and scan your system with it. Your computer will be clean and will run a lot faster.

I like to know what files are associated with or installed with an unwanted object....
spyware, adware....whatever.
And I like to do find files/folders(in start menu) just to double check....not each and every one ...just kind of a quality control check
I kinda remember having hard time getting rid of an object called mwsearch.
Run scan again and see what comes up.
Before running scan I ALWAYS delete temp internet files/cookies/history
in
start/settings/control panel/internet options/delete files(cookies and history)
Haven't had to do it in quite a while but I have fond memories of up all night deleting the twenty or so adwares I had on my computer plus another fifteen or so on another go around...manually....in the registry deleting files.
I would delete an object....run a scan ...delete another object...run a scan. Tons of fun.
And I had Frank Zappas HOT RATS CD in player and it was playing over and over again and now...when I hear "tiny umbrellas" or "IGORS BOOGIE" i think of deleting adwares.

hi, i recommand you to try firefox.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

download firefox for free:

you might not have enough memory or your processor is slow some antivirius/spyware programs hog system resources so you might want to look into getting one that doesnt demand so much memory
