My girlfriend moved in with me about 8 months ago. After about a week she asked me if she could bring her cat here too. I said yes. I have never regretted anything more. This cat weight 22 lbs and has very poor social skills. All he does is eat and sleep and sheds hair...and I mean massive quantities of hair. My house is covered with hair everywhere you look. When my girlfriend pets the cat she has to wipe the hair off her hands and comments on how much he sheds. Whenever I get dressed I must get the hair off my clothes. The cat never goes outside but I would like to put it out and keep it out. I do not hate the cat ...I just hate the hair everywhere. I am a clean freak and this is a major problem for me. Any suggestions?

a friend of mine took his gf cat to the groomer and got it shaved now it is awesome looking it has a ball at the end of his tail and around his feet like a poodle she thought it was the best gift ever now there is less hair in the house
