Also a Leo....but as I understand astrology...at least western astrology...one has to look at the entire natal chart to fully understand the blueprint, if you will, of the person. This requires a persons correct birth time , birth date and birth place and a good astrologer to decipher the mathematics of the chart. It works well for me as a tool .... but most people merely focus on the newspaper columns or superficial sun sign or moon sign info.

I have characteristics of every sign.
I think astrology is bogus.
I have read my horoscope days after the published date with no similarity whatsoever to what happened to me.
However, I do have a fascination with fortune cookies, but I don't believe those any more than I believe astrology.
What does it matter what sign you were born under? What if labor was induced, what if you were born by caesarian? Are you under an artificial sign? Would it make more sense to have your sign based on when you were conceived? What about the day you said your first word?

I once had a friend who claimed he was a palm reader and astrologist.
I was reading a book of his about signs.
I read aloud it's description of his sign virgo and asked if it was a good description of him.
He said "YES".
Then I told him I was really reading about Taurus.
We all share the same traits. We can all find meaning in the vague descriptions.
I'm a Leo.... I used to wear long hair like a mane.
All the women wanted to run their hands thru it.
I have short hair now, but I'm still a leo.
But now I'm the only one running hands thru my hair.
We are all the same. whether we were born in august or may.

i am in many ways. i was born the first 1/2 of June and i do have many of the Gemini traits-but i also have a few that would be considered Taurus also. i read somewhere that the Zodiac was off by about 3wks., that just might be true, not really sure haven't checked it out.

I think astrology is a load of hogwash too...I only look at it because my girlfriend is so darn interested in it.
I checked out the characteristics and they fall in line with me, but I still hold no stock into a single word of it.
I'm exactly like both my Chinese sign (dog) and just like a Capricorn

Yes, I am very much like an Aries.
But then again, if I read the description of any other sign without knowing what it was, I'd be like that one, too.
Astrology was meant to be ambiguous.

Yes, while I don't put a great deal of fact behind them, i find that I fit the mold of a Gemini well.
Even more, I fit the Chinese Zodiac of the Tiger as well.

Yes I am like my sign of Aries. I am about 70% like my sign, but I slightly felt like I was another sign until I understood why....cause my rising sign is Gemini and I fit parts of it.
Most of the people I know match their sign a great deal.

Capricorn: Quiet, loner, take a long time to let people really know me, ambitious...
Yes, I am exactly like my Zodiac sign.
I was born in the year of the rat, which adds extra ambition to my personality.

Very typical Aquarius here... in both the good and the bad ways! Loyal, strong-willed, intellectual, aloof, tolerant of other opinions while being fixed in my own, eccentric, adaptable, unconventional.
Combine that with Year of the Dog and it accentuates the loyalty and humanitarian sides.
