like if aliens came (half life 2 style) and conquered the Earth, and established a totalitarian puppet goverment, kept us under control by controlling our neural hardwiring (feel good about hitting other humans---so they could make drones out of us to control our own population)---etc, and specifying us genetically (experiment) to integrate them into their interdimentional empire----use our genetic superiority (what is good about us) in their empire..
Basically, I don't have anything to do, and I thought that would be cool. Half life is awesome.

Actually that has been done, we are products of alien genetic tampering, for the purpose of slavery. I will let the info below explain, and you be the judge. You are on to something and it's not just fantasy it's reality. We as well as aliens of any type are spirit beings playing a very complex game. Half life is totally awesome.
But i've got stuff to do with my time, so serving as a slave in an alien empire isn't very appealing to me.
And did you get a look at the human slaves in halflife 2? They take off the arms, and the legs, and replace them with metal rods...and the faces..uhg. Not my idea of a good time.
