The opening lines talk of Telemachus speaking with his father Odysseus outside the city at dawn. You could draw this. Since it is at dawn, it provides for a great use of color. You can draw the city in the distance, and young Telemachus speaking to an older, Odysseus, who is dressed as a beggar and has been through much the past twenty years.

If you needed something a little farther along, you could draw Odysseus begging from suitors in his own house. This enables you to draw many men. It also makes it seem a little more like you read the book.
