Now why would we want to do anything like that?! Most of our money is put into producing and exporting oil and the defense industry. If we stopped one, the other does too! So we need to keep people driving their Dodge [penis] Magnums and suckin' down coal at the power plant or else we're going to fall behind! We also can't have the auto industry making more energy efficient automobiles. Electric cars will hurt profits. So why don't you just sit down, have some more MSG. How about those Dallas Cowboys?
I think Jello Biafra did it better the first time.
We could switch over to renewable energy resources. I would gladly pay to have my automobile switched over to hydrogen fuel cells if there was a place to fill it around here. Sadly, the oil companies literally decide every last little thing when it comes to producing energy and whatnot. We have removed regulations on energy companies to wheel and deal without government observation and they call all the shots when it comes to energy.
What I think a lot of people don't realize is it takes only a tiny increase in temperature to cause a glacier to melt and slip off whole from the polar ice cap and then melt out in the ocean. Sweden is going to be underwater soon and we really don't give a ****.
What can we do? Turn out the lights when not in use. Drive more energy efficient automobiles (I'm guilty here, just bought a Mercedes. But I don't drive it as much and it isn't too bad for efficiency, 20-25 MPG). We can recycle whenever possible because it uses up to 85% less energy than producing new materials. All those things are things that you can do.
Now how do we topple the oil companies? You got me. They have their own mercenary army. We could all switch over to bicycles, but we still have semi trucks that need gasoline.
I thought of something else you can do! If you are an alcoholic, drink Fat Tire Belgian Ale. Their brewery is completely wind powered and they make the best ******* micro-brew beer I've ever had. Cheap stuff, too.
EDIT: To the deniers who think global warming isn't happening nor is it a problem:
Try telling that **** to the Swedes. In the last fifty years, oceans have risen at an unprecedented level. Around twice as fast as they should.
Also, around 85% of the scientific community knows that global warming is accelerating due to man's interference. Keep in mind that 15% is probably also funded by big oil.
Global warming is obviously happening and we are accelerating it. Those holes at the polar ice caps were not from polar bears and penguins making a bon fire.

The so called greatest nation on Earth is responsible for most of the damage. Maybe you should rethink that label.

Because we can't do anything about a natural cycle and it would probably be a bad idea to even if we could.
This is the fourth time in 100 years that manmade climate change was going to kill us all. We'll sail through this repitition of the hoax just like we did the other three.

The other three are wrong.
We are not at war with the earth. To many of us believe we own the earth and can do an thing we want to it without consequences.

Man does not cause global warming, do some research. Mars is in a warming trend too, are you blaming us for that too? Al Gore's theory, has been debunked, as junk science time and time again. I could go more about this, but I don't have the time research it yourself.
