No right now, that´s the same reason why Bush look for mass destruction arms in Iraq (because he knew don´t exist, and for the oil); instead of North Korea where he has afraid because he knew they have.

America and Americans ( like anyone ) can be and often is hypocritical.
This is not the same nation that was pulled into WW1 & WW2.
In both of those conflicts there was strong opposition up to us entering each conflict and after ending those who opposed the wars insisted on helping rebuild those defeated.
Opposistion to this idea at the end of WW1 was led by those chicken hawks who wanted war and failure to help Germany and others led to WW2.
It is because of those whining liberals that spoke up at the end of WW2 that we had the prosperity after WW2.
What I am seeing now is a bunch of chicken hawks that are all for war as long as they are not put at risk. For them it is good for business or something.
There is also the people who want to see the Apocalypse and or the second comming of their Messiah. They want a Jewish state so that it can be blown to bits or something like that ( something about 2/3rds of the jews being wiped out and the other 1/3rd converting, I am not sure)
The current administration likes war and wants to start as many as it can. They are not like past (decient) administrations that went to war at the request of others . No they started the wars.
Now some of you will say that we where attacked and that is why we had to go to war.
Iraq did not have anything to do with that!
Afganistan was more than willing to capture and hand over Osama Bin Lauden (?spelling) but the administration wanted war instead.
There is a whole other issue as to whether the whole thing was faked.
Steel building do not fail after burning for a couple of hours !
HE!! wood buildings often do not fail after burning for a couple of hours. And Why did the third building completly fail even when it was not hit at all?
If the towers did fail because of the fires why did the second tower fail first?
If they did fail because of the fire they why did they fall straight down? They should have listed to one side ( the weak side) first.
It is possible to go on but why bother those who want to believe that the current President Bush is the best president ever will not likely ever change their minds and will likely flame me for being a liberal or something. I am A VFW of 35 years ago. I have a GOD given right to ***** and moan.
Just because I believe in conspiracies doesn't mean they are not real.
And Yes the USA and its citizens are often hypocrites and I mean all of them from both (all) sides of the political spectrum.

1. Iran can't give weapons because they use the weapons and nukes for terror and destruction of innocent people. America provides the weapons to Israel for support against this same terrorism.
2. America is ONE OF the only countries capable of taking out Hussein.
3. America has never said the "no one" should have nukes. They just disprove of dangerous nations such as Iran and North Korea.

Did you even listen to Sec. Rice's press conference today? America is trying to improve Lebanon's ability to police itself, so the international community won't have to get involved. Iran doesn't want those in the Lebanese government to get weapons, Iran wants the terrorists not in power to get weapons, so they'll fire them into Israel, provoking an all-out Muslim-Jewish war.

Its not hypocritical, we are preserving our way of life. Lemme ask you, do you think people wouldnt have said anything if nothing were done after 9-11? The fact is, the government hasnt done anything to violate the UN restrictions or the Geneva Convention. It is morally acceptable for us to self preserve, I believe that, because I support our country and I dont want to see it collapse. Maybe you do, but I believe preserving ourselves and our way of life is just grounds for war.

Countries that want to wipe off countries from the map shouldn't have nuclear weapons.
Countries that have them now are responsible enough not to go crazy with them. And we HAD to use it during a MAJOR war to avoid a bigger castatrophe you ill-read monkey.
Not to mention you can't compare arming police to arming criminals to make it fair as it would be with terrorists and nations.

No the US is the strongest and most proud nation on earth.
We should be proud that we have used the military might to save all of Europe and most of the world in past years.
We should be proud that we are helping many nations in thier fight for freedom.
This is the trouble people are taught to be ashamed of the great military things the US has done, They need to be proud of them.
