Use Vaseline trust me it works fast! I have been there many times and it sucks when that happens.

We always pour straight vinegar on it to take the sting out. (You may smell bad but you will feel better I promise) Sit in the bathtub and do it. Then keep aloe vera on it to keep it from drying out so you don't peel. If you can find some aloe vera with lidocaine in it is will help ease the pain a little.

Using Aloe Vera helps. Or try using some non stinging spray.. but personally I think that everything is gonna sting! Dont touch your face!! Or try to peel it.
Everybody goes through sunburn... Dont worry! Put on sunscreen on your face and wherever its burnt. Keep a hat on too.

Stay out of the sun and next time wear sunscreen and apply more frequently. Everytime you get sunburnt you increase your chances of getting skin cancer, so don't let yourself get burt. Remember 15 min. a day gives you a health source of vitamin D, but more than that is not good for you and the more you do it the more high your chances of it becoming fatal. Just be careful.
As for what can you do now for it, you can just keep putting on the aloe, and take cold baths, it will help the skin peel off more easily and take less time (showers for your face, but don't use an abrasive scrub it will damage your skin more and hurt)

Get to the local drug store and buy "Sooth-A-Caine" (Banana Boat) or Solarcaine.
You spray these things on to the burned skin; they contain numbing agents to soothe the pain as well as ingredients such as aloe vera to help keep the burn moist and yet other ingredients to give a cooling sensation. The spray action is also much better than manually rubbing something on to such tender skin.
You can also take something like Ibuprofen (i.e Motrin) which works to reduce inflamation - which is exactly what a sunburn is. Follow the package instructions as directed if you haven't taken ibuprofen OTC before, and of course, if you have any questions call your doctor!!
Feel better!

keep putting on the aloe vera, even though it might sting. peeling is your skins way of getting rid of the dead skin that got burned. put the lotion on your face too.the sting from the aloe vera just means that the moisture is going back inot your skin * when you get sunburned, moisture evaporates from your skin and it burns way faster *.keep putting the lotion on and your sunburn will be gone in no time.

Take a couple of Tylenol to help take out some of the fever in the skin. Also use lots of cream on your face or anywhere else that you might be peeling but avoid creams with perfumes as the perfumes cause the stinging.

Aloe Vera is the best....you have to put it on every time the last application dries.....good luck!
It will sting for the first few times, after that, you'll get use to it and not notice it. Baby oil...will soften the skin....try that also.

It's normal to peel after a sunburn. Use cocoa butter lotion. As for the cold bath, dont make the water too cold as it will make the situation worse for you.

Aloe is the best solution. They make sunburn varieties that include a mild pain killer to the skin.
Remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate with plain water. A burn, especially a bad one will dehydrate you. You do not have to feel thirsty!
