Living in a 5 level tree house 7 miles from the pacific coast is awesome. The uniqueness of that is we feel like even though we have lived here for 12 years we are merely custodians of 5 acres of a riparian area. In the midst of a world full of changes and constant reconstruction, either with wars or political-economic climes, this area is peaceful all the time.
