I have the upmost respect for the Lebanese people. Hezbolah and Hamas are the problem. The Palestinians - I used to defend their cause until they voted 70 plus percent for the Hamas leadership. The same organization that believes Israel should not exist and that condones and pays for the strapping of bombs on a person to blow up innocent civilian women and children on buses and markets.

I have no sympathy for Hezbolah or Hamas. I love the Lebanese people and personally know several.

If Hezbolah stops at any time the firing of rockets and surrenders, they will continue to exist.

If the Israelis were to do the same - every last Israeli would die according to the wishes of Hezbolah or Hamas -

That should give a hint at where the problem exists. Extreme religious zealots.

Hezbolah is getting what it deserves.

No the terrorist in Lebanon attacked Isreal after he had given up all the agreed to terrortory. Lebanon and the UN were to get rid of these terrorist by UN order over 2 year ago.

So yes Israel has a right to destroy the terrorist.

And yes people die in wars, that is what keeps people from trying to do it again normally. Years of peace treaties and stop fightings has not worked, since the terrorist merely uses it to re-arm.

So they are going to get rid of the enemy and terroist group that the UN failed to do.

Terrorism / terrorist is really a stupid term. It's tactic-oriented, and obfuscates the essence of what differentiates the sides in these many coupled wars. If we set terrorism aside for a moment and focus on essentials, we have commonality on one side (Israel, USA, England, Australia...) some degree of freedom and support for individual rights. On the other side (Iran, Iran, Iran, Syria, Palestine (something less than a state)...), we have a coalition of mobs that embrace hatred (fear) of those freedoms, and prefer dictatorships and universal force of might over mind. In a word, it's a clash of man as an independent freewill entity vs. a savage slave to mystic collectivism. I prefer to live in a state that permits independent man to thrive.

FBI definitions of Terrorism:

There is no single, universally accepted, definition of terrorism. Terrorism is defined
in the Code of Federal Regulations as “...the unlawful use of force and violence against
persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or
any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.” (28 C.F.R.
Section 0.85)
i
FBI POLICY
AND
GUIDELINES
nnn accordance with U.S. counterterrorism
nnpolicy, the FBI considers terrorists to be criminals.
FBI efforts in countering terrorist threats are
multifaceted. Information obtained through FBI
investigations is analyzed and used to prevent
terrorist activity and, whenever possible, to effect the
arrest and prosecution of potential perpetrators.
FBI investigations are initiated in accordance with the
following guidelines:
I
The FBI further describes terrorism as either domestic or international, depending
on the origin, base, and objectives of the terrorists. For purposes of this report, the
FBI will use the following definitions:
Domestic terrorism is the unlawful use, or threatened use, of force or violence by
a group or individual based and operating entirely within the United States or its
territories without foreign direction committed against persons or property to intimidate
or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in
furtherance of political or social objectives.
International terrorism involves violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that
are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or any state, or that would
be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or
any state. These acts appear to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population,
influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or affect
the conduct of a government by assassination or kidnapping. International terrorist
acts occur outside the United States or transcend national boundaries in terms of
the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to
coerce or intimidate, or the locale in which the perpetrators operate or seek asylum.

Hence the answer to your questions are no, no, no, and NO

Hmm.. convinced.. I consider you one hundred% Hmm.. I Hamas isn't a terrorist crew.. They do social works for the Palestinians, they strive against for the Palestinians, they're with the Palestinians.. Israel is doing unjust acts in the international.. killing 1300 human beings for self-protection, no longer some thing can justify that. utilising Chemical and unlawful guns upon defenseless civilians, they're one hundred% terrorist.

Terrorist is usually a label for someone who engages in attacks which are primarily intended to spread fear, confusion and uncertainty to undermine its opponents will to fight rather than killing military personnel or destroying military assets. Terrorists usually target civilians.

Hezbollah's actions qualify as terrorist but I don't believe Israel's attacks qualify for that standard. I do not believe they are intentionally targeting civilians. No doubt Hezbollah is attempting to shield itself behind innocents in heavily populated areas. By engaging in terrorism while hiding amongst civilians I believe they are responsible for the civilian lives they use as human shields.

Israel is not attacking with proportional responses but that is because Israel does not intend to let Hezbollah survive. Hezbollah has said many times that they will never recognize Israel's right to exist while simultaneously trying to needle them and bargain with them through gambits like the kidnappings. Since Hamas took control of the Palestinian government and then resumed terrorist activities--the kidnappings--in conjunction with Hezbollah I don't believe Israel had much of a choice. Hezbollah and Hamas have both had opportunities to renounce extremism to become 'just' political parties. If Hamas would have renounced terrorism and their refusal to acknowledge Israel's right to exist I believe Israel and the U.S. would have resumed aid to them and let them govern. Hezbollah and Hamas both passed on that opportunity. It would seem Israel is doing the right thing for their own survival by not bargaining.

Why bargain with an enemy who has sworn to wipe you from the face of the earth? Why offer them safe harbor next to you? When can you show mercy with an enemy who repays it only with bombings and kidnappings? How can you stop pursuing an enemy when they will just return to attack you again and again? I don't think you can do any of these things if you value your own survival.

Since only one of two can ultimately survive by Hezbollah's own reckoning Israel intends to be the survivor and it's trying to finalize that now. That's a military action--trying to kill your enemy--not a terror attack. There's no doubt that Israel is also trying to inspire Lebanon to police Hezbollah as they had previously agreed to do but again I don't think that qualifies as terrorism.

Non-combatants in Lebanon and their families have my sympathies. What is happening to them is terrible. But no one should shed tears for Hezbollah. They would rather rule a desolate wasteland--and have their people live in it for generations--than attempt to coexist in peace. There is no place in a civilized world for such men.

War is not 'even'. There is no such thing as even war.

WW2: Did america say 'Okay japan, for every soldier you kill we'll only try to kill one'?

Not to mention terrorists hide among countries now, the countries fault for allowing it.
