Exogenous steroids have less risk than a regemine on birth control pills (I'm totally serious and have researched) if the recipient only is educated. I hate how the media and government has gone and demonized steroids just because it has a higher margin of risk than other substances - they have decided that we are unable to behave wisely, and thus made us believe that negative effects are foregone conclusions when taking steroids. But anyhow. They are expensive and there are people not willing to read the articles on scholar.google.com or whatever they can get their hands on on medical research on these things, so on with the 'natural' ideas.
Since diet and sleep and exercise are no brainers, I would suggest endothill, gakic, and creatine/glutamine cycling (1 at time, recycling; 2 months per thing following directions for each). They work well and it takes no education other than the label to know how to use them safely. But you know, the absolutely most anabolic supplement is well-fed vanity. As you gain muscle, show it off. It is the seriously number one way to gain - because the ego boost is very pursuasive motivation in favor of staying dedicated to continuing and thus it promotes a beneficient cycle. Good luck - I had your same problem; I was a hardgainer. Am. I started lifting 4 years ago at 130 lbs and now weigh 210 - I could weigh a lot more, but I like to stay below 15% body fat; it slows me down but I don't have to wait to look good at any given time; I compete in bodybuilding and then have to get it down to 3%. It's a great way of life, trust me. And no, for the record, I did no steroids, nor do I advocate irresponsible or ignorant steroid supplementation. I just on principal get pissed, because in the end, it amounts to misrepresentation on the part of the western civilizations' governments, regarding steroids, and I don't blame people for being offended (given their info) if they have been listening to the media etc. and never researched themselves. But I do dispise the soul who does not (if they disagree with me that is) research what I have said here first. I won't cite a source; but those who can't find articles affirming this probably are too provincial to change their minds anyhow. Good luck!

It is proberly in your genes. your gene pool. That sounds like an idea weight. 6' 150 pounds. I'm 6' but weigh 180. When I was younger I weighed 140 for the longest time. I wondered if I ever was going to gain any more. I could eat anything and not gain. but soon as I hit 42 years old the weight came. Now I watch what I eat, but still need to get more active. I would love to get down to 160. Right now the way your weight is do not let it bother you. Also I hope people that know you are very proud of you cause you have a career that will always be around and you help people which is great. Be proud of yourself also. Your headed on the right path in your life.

This is going to sound crazy but you may be working out too much. remember that weight gain requires that you take more calories in than you use. So if you do lots of aerobic activity, you are burning all of your calories. You need to do anaerobic workouts: Heavy weight, few reps. Remeber to get rest on some days.

Other than that just eat more and take protein supplements. Don't use anything but whey or soy protein. All ot that creatine stuff can mess with your kidneys and make you gain water weight.

Steroids always have risks. Your body doesn't need that crap.

metabolism, it's all about metabolism. i'm on the other side of the spectrum. however, 98% of the people i know who couldn't gain weight in their early 20's started gaining mass in their late 20's.
a friend of mine who's both parents were of slight build gained bulk (muscle mass) by eating 5 full meals a day and hitting the gym on a 4 on 1 of schedule, but that worked for him, NO guarantee that will work for you. hit up a nutritionist or a personal trainer, they may have some insight for you. being medical you know that if you start taking stuff to gain weight/mass, such as creatine or what have you, as soon as you stop taking whatever it is the effects are going to diminish.

Lucky guy ! To gain weight become a pig out artist.....eat pizzas, banana splits , have lots of milkshakes and chocolate. Eat when you are stressed, sad, happy...eat just to eat and know that I wish I could join you my friend but my problem lies in the other direction.

got any advice that will help my loose some weight? Haha! My cousin eats this milk shake thing that he got from a nutrition store, he drinks this thing like twice a day, and apparently its equivalent to eating 7 big mac's or something...kinda nasty, but he says the chocolates great!
