Not knowing you I could not answer your question specifically. However if I expand the bounds of the question to why many people hate the government. There was an interesting study done some time ago on different programs that try to get people involved in government. Many find that government can not be changed causing apathy. Others beleive that government is useless and causes more problems than its worth. Still others just do not beleive in government. They beleive that because of all the scandals that government is not looking out for the people but in it for themselves. Those normally have been the main reasons for why some people hate government. You may or may not fit in to those reasons. However I might suspect that you do.

Because you only look at the negative sides of them.
A person with a Limburger (spelling??) cheese under his nose thinks the whole world stinks. I'm not criticising you, but to encourage you to think more positively ...
Yes, there are negatives from government, but there are better ways to communicate that, or even to make a change.
But hating the gov is not it.
