I think it's one of their best songs ever. I love the chorus, because it's kind of haunting.
"California Rest in Peace"
Because it refers to the character 'Dani California' but it also refers to the state. And how people don't care to much about the enviroment lately. It (and many other places) is starting to become just business centers, and yuppie buildings. It's deteriorating. And they're from LA, so they're kind of sticking up for California, they're watchiong out for their home. And they're trying to get other people to, too.

I dont like the song, and the instrumental sounds like a rip off of Tom Petty's "Last Dance With Mary Jane"

i dont like that song even thogh i liek almost all of thier other songs, that song is just diiferent from thier original style of sining, i think some of thier old songs are much better and i do like the other songs form his album

i love it, RHCP is better than most bands now a days. They've definately progressed. fort he better (not that they weren't good a while ago)
