Most women aren't happy with the way they look without makeup on (or at least the women I know don't), and makeup just gives us some control over how our skin looks, and enhances (or covers up) our natural features.

No!! "ayrionna b" actually it makes us age more. Makeup is hard on your skin and it causes wrinkle. That is why right by the makeup counter they sell anti-wrinkle and age defying cream!! Make up covers up blemishes. If you have bad ance, freckles, spots, or suffer from a skin disorder then makeup works wonders!!! It's a Girl thing (sometimes a man thing too...lol) and we feel and look better. Some men say they don't like makeup and that they like the natural look, but what they don't know is what they are looking at and attracted to are Beautiful women with Makeup On!!!

Many women don't wear makeup, for various reasons, shoot I wish I was one who didn't need it. But for those of us who do wear makeup we want to enhance our beautiful selves. Some ladies have uneven skin tone or blemishes they want to conceal, some ladies want to acheive the smoldering eyes, pouty lips or create high cheek bones.
For those who are in the spotlight or wanna feel like they are they may opt for some eye poppin' shadow or golden shimmer bronzer for a sun kissed look. Then you have theatrical or dramatic makeup, and the whole idea is to acheive dramatic features.
For many of us, probably because of magazines like Vanity Fair and Glamour or shows like America's Next Top Model and What Not to Wear, we feel it's a part of our wardrobe especially for the times we spend the night out on the town. Or shall I say when we're steppin' out! Haha.

I dont like to do makeup i just be natural how iam.
and people likes me without makeup...
about other women, they think that if they put make they look beautiful they can attract people... but they dont see there natural beauty.......... I DONT LIKE MAKEUP......

To be attractive to the op posit gender.rose cheeks (the look of health), mascara (to intensify the color of their eyes) and the red lipstick (like a fruit or somewhat a sex) .It became more and more complicated over the centuries.Egyptians men and women used to apply kohl around their eyes to make themselves more pleasing.

It's like asking why does men like porn and doing stupid things. Makeup's like coloring, and it helps to compliment her skin tone, hides her pimple/scars, and flatters her features by bringing them out.

I wear it because I like how I look with eyeliner on. Plus I perform a lot and stage lights make you look like you are about to faint.

i do cause eye liner brings out tha color of my eyes make them more beautiful and make them look like cat eyes more than what they aready do i love eye liner and mascara and eye shadow and thats it thats all i wear nothing eles i dont need anything else lol
