why do people b or g have rings pierced all over there body

Uh, I guess its a way for them to express themselves, like people do with tattoos or clothing and hairstyles.

i have a stud in my nose and a stud on the lower left side of my lip. I also hav my nipples and belly button peirced. the reason i got those is because i think it is art.
