Exactly where in New York? And is it exactly 8 am, or is it 8 am plus 3 seconds? Or were you born 3 seconds before 8 am? You can either be sag or capricorn or even aquarius rising. Depends if there is an intercepted house or not. 'Course the year would help immensely! What exactly does your birth certificate say? Because you either have an 11th house sun, or a 12th. Big difference! And I won't get into detail until I know for sure. Because, just for example, if your sun in Scorpio is in the 11th, you might have estrangements from what you thought were best friends,. You may have a freind die unexpectedly in a freak accident. You may lose a child thru miscarriage or abortion which causes you a tremendous amount of grief, or your spouse might cheat on you with what you thought was your best friend or you may out of the blue recieve an inheritance. There's a million possibilities. That's why time, place, are so important. If your sun in Scorpio is in the 12th house, that's a whole different story.
