PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO not stick anything 'up there' that can cause you to get a very serious infection. Trust me I am a nurse. So, I think the best thing you can do right now is tell your grandma and she will understand. If you still feel you can't do that, just take a small towel and place it between your legs lengthwise. While you are lying down there's usually no problem, its usually as you get up that it all comes flowing out, so just be careful and run to the shower in the morning. Hope this helps....

Tell your grandmother that you're on your period and that you need supplies. She may have some stuff lying around; I know my grandmother used to have tampons stuffed into her bathroom cabinets. Even if she doesn't have anything, I'm sure she'd be happy to run to the store for you.

If not, make a temporary pad with toilet paper and/ or tissues.

Look around the house for something that soaks up a lot of liquid, or just tell your grandmother and see if she has something or can take you to the store.

Just ask your grandma if she has any pads or tampons, (whatever you prefer), or you can ask her if she can go to the store for you. Remember, this happens to everyone! It's nothing to be embarassed about. Don't be afraid about talking to her, she's a close relative. Just stay calm! She's probably had this problem before, it's normal.

Good luck!

Ask grandma if she has a pad or Depends (y'know the adult diapers). Or, just get a towel and be prepared to take a good shower the next morning. You'll probably have to ask grandma to go for you or you'll get blood on the car and on your clothes.

Did you search through her cabinets to see if there is any pads/tampons under there?

If all else fails, get a CLEAN sock and use it as a pad. Sounds gross but it's better than bleeding all over the bedsheet.

I honestly don't know have you looked in her cabinets? Is there anyone you know that lives nearby that you could call they might have something? Fold a lot of toilet paper in your underwear? I'm sorry I haven't been in that position before, good luck I hope you find something.

THERE ARE SOME GREAT ANSWERS ALREADY BUT THIS IS MY OPINION.
LIKE ONE ANSWERER SAID, YOU CAN TELL YOUR GRANDMA CUZ SHE HAD HER PERIOD BEFORE TOO! BUT SOMETIMES, THESE THINGS CAN B A LIL EMBRASSING... I CAN'T EVEN TELL MY OWN MOTHER! WHAT YOU CAN DO IS THAT IF IT'S REALLY REALLIY HEAVY, TRY FOLDING UP A LIL TOWEL AND TUCK IT ON YOUR UNDERWEAR...IF IT'S NOT REALLY HEAVY, USE A LOT OF TOILET PAPER AND STICK IT UP THERE . HOPE THIS HELPS.

tell grandma to take you to the store. she had periods once. she knows how it is. or, you could sleep on towels, but chances are they'd be her towels, so i don't recommend that.
