And don't just say jet pack or laser pistol, I mean things that are real, now. We have all seen the "pick the super power you'd most like to have" questions. This is a "What kind of super powers DO we have?" Doesn't have to be implanted. Examples: flight with hang glider. Ranged kinetic energy attack with gun. Night vision with goggles. Come up with some nobody's thought of!

Invisibility... Well, it's not literal. But the Army is developing a suit that gives the effect of invisibility. It was inspired by the Predator movies. Basically, there are tiny cameras all over the suit and they project what's on one side to the other. So you look all blurry and almmost invisible, just like the Predator!!! Also, they're developing a pantsuit that walks and runs for you so you don't have to keep stopping when you become tired or exhausted... so that's like a form of... keep on goingness power? I don't know, but I think both are pretty cool!!!

Probably an "electric shock touch". Kevlar armor makes the wearer semi-invulnerable (or as The Tick says, "nigh-invulnerable").
Flying is no problem, you could easily rig up a small shoulder-mounted jet pack. Stopping and landing safely *IS* a problem. Get moving 100 miles per hour thru the air, realize you're heading toward a building ... how do you slam on the brakes in mid-air?

Things ive seen or have heard of recently.. we could boost our hearing potential by wearing a hearing aid. There was a news article recently of a Bionic Eye.. that is an implant of a tiny telescopic lens put into the eyes of people with Macular degeneration
they are working on ways of Having the human brain control computers.. this is potentially limitless in its applications including one day controling robotic arms and legs )

I remember reading some where that the Basic Batsuit from batman begins is based on realworld tech. only its a touch more expensive that the movie said, and not quite to the specs but damned close

well with todays technology we could do basicly anything, but dont expect to were a tight costume.
well we could have the power to shoot fire from our hands (example like pyro from X-men, he has the power to move fire, not create it, but he has these lighters below his hand to give you the illusion that he can create fire from his hands) now with our technology not only coud we have those little lighters on our hands but we could increase its power to a flame thrower, so it would look like we have flame throwers on our hands.
another power is electricity, we have sooo much technology on electricity that we could basicly have any cind of power that involves electricity, (example, like the shocker from spider man, he has a electric power suit) it seems quit easy to have any kind of electric powers today.
another power is sound waves, we just recintly invinted a device that alouse us to shoot sound waves in one straight line insted of going around every were,(example...i cant think of a super hero who has that power but i can draw a esample

well this is just 3 examples, im sure that there are tons more powers out there, like radiation,ice,poison,and shooting anything from your hands, my guess is that in the future there will literally be a super hero and a super villain, but right now the only way you can have super powers is unless you have money like batman!
