Bonds is a washed-up has-been. He'll probably be in prison next year for perjury or income tax evasion or both. He's such a self-centered s-o-b that if he is still playing he'll sign with an American League team to DH just so he can break Aaron's record. It will be tainted by steroids if he does and people will still consider Aaron the all-time HR leader. I can't remember a player who has been hated more in the last 30 years than Bonds.

I think he will play next year but it won,t be for the giant somewhere like Oakland where he could DH for the year would be a good fit for bonds. He is on his last legs and he will not do very much next year. If he hits 25 home runs next year i will be shocked to death, it may even be 2 years before he breaks the record.

If he doesn't go to prison he will definetely continue to chase the record. That is the only reason why he is still playing. His skills (or lack thereof) in the outfield have deteriorated to the point where he will have to settle for a DH position in the American League. I still don't think he'll break Hammerin' Hank's record.

10-6 Playoffs. i do not see a huge downfall for Indy this season, even inspite of the actuality that they lost some gamers and don't have a lot intensity at receiver and protection. yet Andrew success is a robust Quarterback, and with Reggie Wayne this crew will contend in each pastime they play. 4 fourth quarter comebacks, 7 pastime-triumphing drives. keep in mind that.

He'll play next year for the Giants and break the home run record. He may be old, but he can still play and hit great.

no he wont play next year .. not the fact that he's old, but because the MLB will suspened him, and possibly ban him from baseball ..
but if he is inisent, i would love to see him beat the record .. he was definetly one of my favorite players, before i found out he possible took steriods..
i think he physcally could play for another year.. and if so, possibly beat the record

The longer he continues to play baseball and chase that record...the easier it is to keep the legal matters out of the press or front page news...
he's old...-nods- I agree!!

He shouldn't.
Why should he break a record if the only reason he can is if he's hyped up on steroids
