Well each of those things are in different price ranges. Here's what I would do: Lets say you were wanting to save $1000 to buy the "new" item.
First I would buy a used laptop off ebay for like $400 bucks (
make sure it has an operating system so you wont have to pay for that). Then I would buy another used camera on ebay for $100 bucks (you can get a good used canon sd400 for around that now, make sure it has extra batteries and a decent size flash cad). Next the cell phone, well you have to get cell phone service and i would get the cheapest plan with a "free" phone or you can buy the pay as you go phones for like $20. Ok so now you have $480 left over for a car. Hum, I guess you may be able to buy a crappy car for that much but you will have alot of maintenance problems so put the $480 in an account that draws interest and wait until you have another $520 to buy a $1000 dollar car. Bum rides until you save up enough.

Let's prioritize, shall we?
A) Car will cost at least $5000. More for a good one that runs.
B) Digital Camera: $200
C) Laptop: $1000-$2000
D) Cell Phone: $250
So, I'd say, in the scheme of things, I'd do it this way:
Cell Phone, Laptop, Digital Camera, and Car.
Why?
Cell phone, to call people, a needed item in today's society.
Laptop, to use to work or play and on the go.
Digital camera. No good if I can't plug it in to said laptop, must be after laptop.
Car. Expensive, insurance, want to make sure I'm stable before I buy a car.
That's what I'd do! And in fact, it's pretty much like that right now. I'll be buying my new cell phone and laptop next month.

Well depends on where you live. If you live in the city with access to mass transit, you don't necessarly need a car. If you have a cell phone, you'll be fine. If you don't have a computer a ditial camera won't do you any good. Of course if you have a laptop you'll need all the others to go with the stylish new laptop. It's purly your choice.

Well, I think you are the one to determine here...
What of these products you already have, but might be a little out-dated, or what of these you could without in favor of another?
So, if you have an old car, but not really old - like dead, then omit this one out.
If you have a cellphone and just need one for incoming / outgoing calls, then omit this one out.
And so on...
You probably will end-up omitting-out all of the four products!!
In that case, give me the money instead ;)
Well, try seeing what is / is not of high priority to you, and determine what to buy.
Good Luck!

See 1st you need a phone so people can get ahold of you when you need a ride. But I would get the car. Everything else will fall into place after that.
