I know its an old series but im still impressed about how back in those days everything was so simple and decent when it comes to good old fashion morals and values.

Yeah, I admit that I watch it when it comes on. Michael Landon was such a great father in this series.

It's nice to see some things on TV that are wholesome.

I watched the series growing up--and I'll still sit for some episodes. I love mostly the season six episodes when Laura falls in love with Almanzo...and their eventual courtship. "Sweet Sixteen" is probably my favorite episode...where Laura finally gets her teacher's certificate, gets her first job, and it's where Almanzo finally realizes she's a woman. Best line ever: "How'd you like to dance with a teacher..." Or perhaps when he gives her a scarf for her birthday her response "It's like I'm wearing your colors."

Sorry But I could never stomach it.
It was too cute and happy and wayyyyy too loving.

Nothing like real families.
Even back in the 1800's families were never that way.

I guess people watched and still watch it to forget about their crappy families.

Nope only watched it when I was too lazy to reach for the remote.
