That question I asked about who thought green day's music sucked has gotten some nasty answers towards those who don't like their music. Why such hostility?

Because they're too stuck up to let people have they're own opinions. So what if people like Green Day, it doesn't give other people the right to hate them. I'm sure they have bands they like, that the other people don't. But you don't see them pissin' and maonin'! All I can say is, if anyone changes they're opinion just to 'fit in', YOU'RE A DUMBASS! STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN! DON"T TAKE IT ROLLING OVER! EVER!

It doesn't really matter to me if they like them or not. It is their opinion, their choice , a freedom to speak of their likes and dislikes.
I like to listen to GreenDay. I also enjoy classical music ( Bach, Mozart etc) I believe you need to have an open mind.
Our collection consists of AFI, My Chemical Romance, Tool, Marilyn Manson,Josh Groban,Syd Barrett,Nirvana, Enya,CSN, ELP,Pink Floyd, The Band, Canned Heat, Hot Tuna, Gentle Giant, Little Feet, Uriah Heep, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Bach, Beethoven,Ramones..... and so on and so on................"Variety is the spice of life"

Who cares about them! Green Day is a horrible band! They have no talent at all! A beginner can play their music.

everyone gets so up about thier music
its not as good as people think
and to top it off, the guys are ***** to everyone
if u meet them in person, they're complete assholes
now, i dont hate all thier music. i just hate thier new music
but i DO hate the band because of the way the guys act when in public

Because theyre immature. If I got all pissy everytime one of those losers said they hated rap then Id be angry all the time but I know how to control my anger.
