He's a good comedian.

He was perfect and subdued in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". He became Joel and not once did I think of him as "Jim Carrey".
He just needs to reign in his shtick and do some solid character work. He has it in him.
Also needs to pick better projects, and let the script and director do their jobs and not make it his vehicle. In "Sunshine" he respected the material and turned in the performance of his career so far.

i love Jim Carrey, he cracks me up. he was great in Bruce Almighty, Eternal Sunshine of the Mind, Me Myself & Irene

Yup no doubt abt that .. Jim is the good comedian . I like his movies .

Hmm. He's not as great as he used to be. He's losing his funny XD. All his older stuff was HILARIOUS, though. In my opinion, his most recent movie that was really great was "The Grinch," and that was a while ago.
