okay, so i have these really short but noticeable hairs on my chest. i'm a really NOT hairy person, and this bothers me, but i don't want to shave (1) because i'm lazy and (2) because it will grow back thicker. i was wondering if a wax job or nair or something would work, and what would be the best option? and how long does waxing or nair KEEP you hair-free? i know you probably think it's weird for a guy to be concerned about this. it is. but whatever. thanks! =D

Nair works well, so does waxing. But, shaving doesn't really make hair grow back thicker, it's just that one begins shaving at the onset of hair growth so as time passes it does continue to grow in thicker. Shaving is easy, but nair works too. Best wishes

If you never want hair there, you need to remove the entire hair from the follicle. Do this repeatedly and the follicle will eventually stop producing a new hair. (one reason women should be cautious about plucking eyebrows too zealously)
You can either pluck manually, which would be pretty slow, or wax. I don't think nair works on the same principle.

Wax is painful... but I don't know how well nair works. I tried it once but it didn't seem to do anything (i followed the instructions, perhaps i did something wrong?)
