I have a leather couch and some areas are looking a little dry. I have a couch, loveseat and a chair and heard that mineral oil USP can be used as a conditioner. If you know if this is true or how to use it, could you please post it for me? Thanks in advance!

Just get armoral for car leather. It's not worth the risk of discoloration using some wacko's advice on mineral oil here in Yahoo.

NO NO NO !!!! Mineral oil is not a good idea. You need a leather conditioner specific to your leather type.. See types here >http://mobileleatherservice.com/LeatherTypes.html

Find a good conditioner for leather furniture.. You can find one here >>> http://mobileleatherservice.com/NOBULL.html

Do Not use armor all on your leather .. the leather needs to breath.. armor all and other car products seal up so much they trap in heat and damage the leather in the long run...

If you dont get that... You can pick up lexol... or leather master soft cleaner... surf some of the links on the above pages and find some good products for your fine quality leather... OR BETTER YET CALL A PRO.. Punch inleather cleaning and your nearest city and see what you get...

Don't use mineral oil. It is made from petroleum and will break down the leather, actually causing it to dry out over time. A better product would be neatsfoot or olive oil, wiped on thinly with a rag. Be aware that this may create dark spots, however. I would saddle soap the entire surface and let it dry thoroughly before using any oils, and let the area completely absorb the oil before sitting on it. You don't want it to stain your clothes.
