are you asking the question that if the earth's rotation is so fast, like it goes something close to 800,000 miles per hour (or close to it), why do we not feel the spin? well, let me ask you a question. when you're in a fast car, plane or train, why is that things seem to be whizzing by you but you feel no noticeable motion? it's all quantum physics and personal. since you are in the car, train,,,, you are part of the speeding vehicle. in fact, if you closed your eyes, didn't look out, you wouldn't be aware of your speed at all. now, stand outside & watch a speeding car. you can judge the speed and distance. you are removed from the motion & not part of it. we're all on a ship called earth. it's traveling very fast. you can detect the speed & motion by the movement of the stars (actually, we're moving not the sun or stars). our mornings & nights are cause & effect of us moving & rotating through the big black void. we don't spin off because of gravity but should the earth suddenly stop in its' tracks, we'd go flying faster than a bullet into the first hard place available. i was very little when i first asked that question & was pleasantly suprised when i got the answer.

We do actually. Our 24 hour day is a pretty short one in the Solar System. Venus has a day spanning an equivalent of 243 Earth days. While Mercury has a day with an equivalent of 60 Earth days. For the record, Jupiter has the shortest day with an equivalent of only 9.8 Earth hours.

24 hours is WAY to fast as it is. I'd rather it slow down a bit so that i can catch up to do all the things i want to do, and that's not to get to Level 7....as some people may think.
