Not in my experience.... they suck you in by saying it is free... you just have to fill in the information on 3 forms...

the first form.. of course.. is your name and email address... etc.. normal stuff to give to someone that is going to send you anything by mail.. or keep in contact with you...

then the second page... has sponsors that you need to sign up with 3 to 5 of them... they are all free... or.. most of them are...so you fill out massive forms for the 5 sponsors... on to page 2

now you have to sign up with 3 more of their sponsors.. but.. in that group perhaps there are no free ones... but... ok.. there is one or two that you can cancel after 6 months and no cost... yeah.. right.. wanna buy a bridge?...ok.. so you suck it in and sign up for a few that you write down and mark the date to cancel them so you won't have to pay...on to page 3

ok.. now ... you sign up for a "test" group of people ... more forms.. more personal info.. etc... .. oops!! error!!... you can't get back to the page!!! you can't complete you sign up!!! and.. NOWHERE in all of these forms has anyone given you any email addresses to contact in case of a problem.... oh... and.. you've already filled out enough forms to get your name and email on junk email lists until your grandchildren buy their first house on Mars...

at this point... I suggest that you change email addresses... tell all your closest friends.. and nobody else!!

ok.. hmmm.. but.. then again.. that is only MY personal experience... your's might vary.. maybe you'll only get 400 junk emails per day.

oh... and ... even if you do cancel the "trial" subscriptions... you will end up paying to send back some of their products.

Those things are ALL A SCAM. You either end up having to pay or you go through this huge survery where you have to sign up for various things from sponsor companies and they end up forcing you to say yes to something. The surveys are so long and ridiculous that you end up giving up. Half the time they are from sponsors that one would not be interested in .

Just be careful. Nothing is free ESPECIALLY on the internet.
