Electric is cooler and easier to learn on.
Acoustic is cheaper (no amp) and easier to move around.

Well the first question you should ask would be to yourself, and that question is what type of music do you want to play. The 2 guitars obviously have very different characteristics. I will say however playing electric is alot easier on your fingers than acoustic strings are. Its really all about your style, warm and light = acoustic
hardcore rock = electric.

It depends what kind of music you are into. Electric is easier for most people to start with because the strings usually are a lighter. But you also need an amplifier. Acoustics are a lot easier to bring around.

Acoustic. Find a good teacher, learn how to read music and become a musician.

The acoustic is easier to learn on, but it depends on your personal taste which one you think sounds better, why not learn both. then you can play whatever you want.
