Being a chemical lab tech I know exactly which chemicals are in cigarettes and I know that when you smoke you inhale them and they also get sent out in the smoke so other people inhale them. Sometime look up the Material Safety Data Sheets on Benzene, Formaldehyde, Ammonia, Acetone, Nicotine, Arsenic & Hydrogen Cyanide. I've worked with a lot of those chemicals with full protective equipment (gloves, respirator, fume hood, chemical resistant apron, etc..) and I don't feel like breathing them in when someone exhales them.

I am allergic to cigarette (or any tobacco) smoke. Breathing in that smoke gives me blinding headaches that sometimes require prescription pain killers to get rid of. It also causes my vision to blur so that seeing is difficult.

I have a neighbor who I used to visit sometimes, but 20 minutes in her home meant that when I came home, I had to change clothes and wash my hair before the headache would go away.

THAT is how it hurts me when I have to breathe in second hand smoke.

Second hand smoke my a$$!!! How many people do you know that have died or become ill from second hand smoke? It's just another scare tactic to get people to quit smoking or to justify taking away our right to smoke. It's no worse than the pollution in our air that is caused by cars, power plants, etc.

It doesn't unless you are near me. Second hand smoke causes cancer, emphysema, and can cause asthma attacks for those who have asthma. These are just a few ways your smoking can hurt others, that is, if you are in a closed area with them.

It stinks. Its dirty. Its a fire hazard. It causes insurance rates to go up for everyone.

If you could smoke only outdoors, and down-wind of me, I am OK with it. But will you?

Here is why you should smoke and NOT ME. You will be paying a ridiculous cigarette tax and I won't. So puff away and pay my taxes.

I smoke too and would like to also know?? I HATE going outside to smoke! I grew up with "second-hand" smoke and so did my parents and their parents and NONE of us ever had cancer relating to smoking!!

my taxes go to your welfare when you get emphysema and end up in a nursing home even if I am not near enough to you to smell the stench of your clothes. or the "second hand smoke"

HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN AL LOOK AT THE WALLS OF A SMOKING AREA? THEY LOOK DISGUSTING. WELL, AS YOU EXHALE OR EVEN WHILE THE CIGS ARE LIT, PEOPLE ARE EXPOSED TO IT.

You can get lung cancer, emphysema, for me I now have asthma. It so sucks, if you haven't started then please don't! It is so not worth it plus it's super expensive.
