No magnolia, not Dogwood, not Cherry.
These were bunched sort of like a Crepe Myrtly but not that either.

that could be anything includin magnolia, dogwood, lilac, creyp myrtle .. who knows. check a site on bloomin trees

If they were large leafy trees with big white blooms then they were likely Magnolia trees
