I've never gone to the movies by myself, but I'm sure I will someday, there's nothing wrong with it I guess, its just nice to go with someone else, or a group of people..there's always something to do afterwards..no big deal..go..and have a good time:)

I don't believe in God any more because of a tragic motor scooter and gun accident that blew off my left foot and three fingers. I often wonder that if I saw Bozo naked would I think that chocolate milk cannot be sold in stores in a plastic container, or could it? That is a very deep and philosophical question that many great people like Coach Ditka and Jesus could not answer when they went before a grand jury for illegal dancing in Utah. Just because Van Halen does not play at your grammar school dance doesn't mean that you have missed out in life or did something wrong. You have to move past those issues and begin to address the fact that Men are from Mars and Women are from Saturn. I once fed a dead rat to a blind man in a tossed salad and he was not happy with the dressing I picked for him. Do you ever reflect on the meaning of extra large shrimp or why plumbers don't lay plumbs when bricklayers lay bricks? Dance freely and don't forget to wear sunscreen when you go to the bowling alley. The government and aliens want you to stop smoking and you are just falling into their plan and trap. Think about all the people in the phone book that cannot play the piano or shoot a cross bow. Why is that? I cannot explain this to anyone unless they open their mind to free thoughts and the acceptance that dogs can teach humans to create a clean burning combustible engine to put in our automobiles. I do generally wear only women's orange panties when I cut the lawn in the morning. I think that is the best answer that I can provide with this limited amount of time and research.

No, it's okay. There's nothing wrong with going by yourself.
Why would you go with someone you didn't really like? Or why would you not go, just becaue there's no one at the moment who is ready or knows to go with you. You might meet some one else who is going alone. Who knows? Do what you feel, don't get so constrained with what others think. Be honest, be yourself. Don't be afraid to follow your path.
I've watched some films on my own, sitting in the cinema, enjoying the story. I don't regret going alone. So, I was at the time alone. That doesn't make me a bad person. And some people need to be alone at times. Maybe all of us do. Isn't this part of the human condition?

Go for it, dude! What's so bad about it?
I've never done it myself, but I've gone to ballets, operas, and plays by myself.
Actually, no. I have gone to the movie theatres alone. But they were silent movie theatres and classic movie theatres, so yeah. I have done it. It's not as if people stare you that you're alone or not... they're just there for one or two reasons: either to watch the movie or to hang out with friends and watch the movie.
There's nothing wrong with going there by yourself. I used to hang around some old theaters a while back. I saw a ton of people go in by themselves, all of whom looked a little paranoid going there by themselves for the first time, lol. It's not like it's sex or something, lol.
Just go! Have fun! :-D

Of course you should go. While you're at it, stop at a restaurant and have dinner by yourself.
Don't limit yourself by what others think. Just do it and enjoy it. It's healthy to be happy doing things alone as well as with others. Besides, the more times you go to a place alone, the more new friends you begin to make.

Even though I don't think there is anything wrong with going by yourself I never could do it. I know I would feel strange and I'm the type of person who likes to share the experience with someone else.
Whether you go or not is personal choice and really resides in how you feel.

Yes! I went and saw The Notebook in the theatres when it was first released. None of my friends were in town at the time, so I went and saw it by myself since my mother wasn't interested in coming along. I didn't feel stupid because I went early in the morning and there was hardly anybody there, plus it was on a week day.

Yes, before I was married, I would go to movies alone and even out to eat alone. Continue to do the things you enjoy, even when you have no one to do them with. It does sometimes feel a little awkward, but bite the bullet and enjoy yourself! You will be glad you did.

You FOR SURE should do it! :) I have went to the movies alone a few times, and its actually a very great experience. :)
I always feel like I did something because I wanted to, and me only. Not because I had to go sit through a movie someone else wanted to see also, but just ME. :) I kinda feel like it's spoiling myself. :) Love it!
