Perhaps they don't know how to express themselves any other way. Or, maybe they feel the need to justify their hurt by inflicting pain on someone else.
But good for you, for being reserved and fair. We need more people like you!

I wouldn't try if I were you. You're lucky not to have those tendencies.
Many people have grown up in households where screaming and sarcasm are their main forms of communication. Because they know nothing different, they intereact with people in a way that you would describe as mean. They might not think of sarcasm as meanness, just kidding around.
Other people may think it's cool to be mean, and being a "nice guy" is definitely not accepted in schools, at least by other guys. Being nice is being a wimp, so people try to be mean to cover up possible wimpyness. Which is probably why most bfs can seem mean or tough on the outside but are really sweet inside.
Liebe und Frieden.

In the developed world, we live in a very pressurised society. Pressure to perform, and idealistic. The media has portrayed a kind of lifestyle that we need to conform to. The people around us want us to be behave in a certain way.
When things don't go our way, anger builds up and when it is not resolved constructiviely, people get sarcastic, mean, vengeful, and angry.
Emotions are at work.
have self-control, that's the way we can make the earth a better place.
Cheers!

It's an evil gift,I can't help it,lol. No,seriously,I'm not mean unless provoked. Once you invoke my wrath,be warned!! I don't like being walked all over. I don't go off on people for getting an order wrong,or stupid stuff like that. If people start on me,they'd better be prepared to get back what they're giving out. Simple as that,I'm no-body's doormat..have a nice day =o))

He yelled because he had a bad day, and his coffee was the last straw. Broke his back, you know?
People get pizzed all the time at my work -- and there's no reason for it. *pats back*
The world's a good place, just need to realize that some people don't have the required amount of self-control to enjoy it.

You never know where people are coming from. Who betrayed them or let them down, if the dog bit them on the way to work or what. In the troubles of life I've heard there are two choices;
1Get Bitter
2Get better
Unfortunately many people have no good reasons or examples of how to resist bitterness.

Some poeple get away with it and get anything they want by curing people out and demanding the service or correction they are asking for, that has never worked for me.
When I get pissed off that the custumer service doesn't see their error and basically says no to my request they don't change their mind. I don't know what it is, maybe it's my delect voice that people won't take seriously.

The only person you can control is yourself. Just don't be mean. The others are just insecure and unhappy, so they are mean to people. That's their problem.
