Well whatever happened to the notion of a man HONOURING HIS COMMITMENTS?
Why respect a man who doesn't do that?
Can you think of any reason to be nice to a man who has betrayed you?

In some cases it how the women get paybacks. But it works both ways. Once the papers are filed the boxing gloves go on. My ex-husband told every one that I was a great mom before the divorce, after I was the worst thing that every.Men and women need to realize that if you have kids you are trying to find out were the kids would be better at. And there is no "I won!you lost" there are only loser at this game because everybody gets hurt somehow.

same reason men do, they are hurt and have to readjust the entire plan for their lives and its hard, plus the women usually have to take care of the kids too (if they have kids) while the men just get to run around and be single and free again, it can cause some serious resentment. Men get a clean slate and can just start over, women have to deal with sick kids, school, and needing a babysitter before she can even think about going anywhere.

wow! okay so I can agree with all the other ones that basicly he did something but lets also look at this, IF there are kids she now has them 24 7 by herself with no break till you decide to come around and visit them, not that it is a bad thing but the kids feelings have to be dealt with along with the now ex wifey. It makes it alot harder on her. Plus many times he then wants to be a jerk about the situation as well, holding child support, vehicals or monetary things over her head and not assiting her with what once was THIER life. Then also alot of men take away friends of the female and so she has to rediscover herself, it's a long road going back to single TRUST ME

Ya know that is a really good question. I have been divorced twice and each time my ex and I manged to remain amicable. But my boyfriend is going through a divorce and his soon to be ex is the biggest ***** I have ever seen. They have 5 children, he loves his children, he sends his child support, he pays spousal support and all she can do is be a **
***. She won't let him see his children, she tells the children bad things about their father and the best one is, she is forever taking him to court for none payment. She wants him in jail so she can go on welfare.
I don't get it either.

Good luck.

Because they have someone else in there life and they want to justify what they are doing is right. Being nasty is part of that and if your begging her to come back it gets worse. Trying to have a civil talk or a conversation becomes a task. And if lawyers are involved it just gets worse.. They tell them to stay away from you and don`t talk to you at all. These people are called Back Biters!!

Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned.
When a woman marries It's usually forever. Very few ever blame themselves. I'm sure she'd rather kick your butt or pull a Larina Bobbitt on you. women get even or more , not to count all of her friends who tell her every thing she can do to you.

Try to be very civil, don't raise your voice or get angry. If you can't talk to her , you'll be talking to her lawyer at your expense.

It's cheaper to keep her

It's probably a defensive reaction. Divorce sucks and it's hard to be casual when your dreams are shattered, regardless who caused it.

it is safe to say that they deserve it, they have obviously done something bad enough to constitute a divorce so they deserve being treated that way
